In Romania and Moldova, they trek up and down stairwells of apartment buildings, knocking on door after door. They walk the streets through rainstorms, blizzards, dust, and scorching heat. They look for prepared people in the parks, in the stores, or on the buses. They ask the pharmacist, the taxi driver, and the little lady at the flower stand if they would want to hear a message that would change their lives.
The missionaries leave the pleasures and comforts of home behind in order to help people they have never met "Come Unto Christ." And while most people are not even willing to take the time to listen to a message they once knew as true, and will again someday know is true, there are those who have been searching. When they finally cross paths with these amazing missionaries, the message they hear rings true. The spirit bears witness to those who sincerely ask, and their lives are changed forever. These are the people who have accepted the invitation to Come Unto Christ.
Some of the missionaries sent me their baptismal pictures from 2009. I don't have the names of all the new members, but will list the missionaries' names below.
