THANK YOU FOR YOUR PRAYERS!

I want to express my deepest gratitude for all the prayers being offered on behalf of Elder Jace Davis, Elder McKay Burrows, their families and the Romania Bucharest Mission. Our hearts are heavy and many tears have been shed, because of the passing of these two beloved missionaries. President Lundberg and I are heading to the airport in a few minutes to fly to Timisoara where the two elders were serving. I will have time to share more details when I return.

The gospel is true. The atonement of Jesus Christ will pull us through this sorrow. Please continue to pray for us.

Glad the love is reaching you. I'm so grateful for your devastated missionaries that, if they can't have their own parents to calm and comfort them, they have the two of you. Nobody better.

We love you all and will continue to pray for you, the missionaries, and the families of these wonderful missionaries. During sacrament meeting today, during the 3rd verse of "Rock of Ages," I couldn't help but think of these two great elders singing as they continue their work on the other side.

Wow! This is such a shock. We will continue to pray for the families of these Elders and for the mission. Like you said, the Atonement is real and my favorite line in PMG says "All that is unfair about life can be made right through the Atonement of Jesus Christ" (PMG p. 52). But Sora Lundberg and President Lundberg are so amazing and I am confident that you will be able to comfort the missionaries. You both have the Spirit so powerfully with you; I remember being touched and inspired by your testimonies. I know that the Lord will bless you to say what He would say if He were there.

love ya,

We are very saddened about the news of Elder Davis and Elder Burrows. We will keep the families of these Elders and the Romania mission in our thoughts and prayers. It is comforting to know that these young men died doing something they loved in service of a purpose much greater than themselves. I know this time is going to be especially hard for their families and all of the missionaries in The Romania mission. I am grateful for the sacrifice these young men are making. I know they are doing the right thing and will be blessed for their Christlike service.

Love, Ernie and Jennifer Sanchez, Parents of Elder Anthony Sanchez

Oh, President and Sora Lundberg, thank you for being there. We are praying for you both, all the Romanian mission and missionaries, and especially the Burrow and Davis families. Sora Lundberg, thank you for this blog. This is where I spent the evening after the news, just looking at your pictures of all the missionaries and especially Elders Burrow and Davis. It gave me comfort to sort through the pictures. Do you know how we can get the Burrow's and Davis's addresses so we can send our condolences? May the Lord bless you in all you have to do, Tammy Ferrin, mom of Elder Stuart Ferrin

Words cannot express our sorrow at the loss of Elder Davis and Elder Burrows. How hard that must be for their families and also for the mission. But our son, Elder Chris Bailey, in his email, talked of President Lundberg's wise words of transfers and splits of another kind. Thank you Lundbergs for all you do. Our prayers are with you all. If there is anything we can do, don't hesitate to call. We love you all.

We have just heard the news of Elder Burrows and Elder Davis' passing. Our hearts are heavy. We wish to express our love for their families and wish we could wrap our arms around them in their time of sorrow. But we know that our Heavenly Father is doing that already. He only can give the peace which "passeth understanding".

Our hearts are broke and saddened at the loss of Elder's Davis and Burrows. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, their families, and the entire mission. We know that all the missionaries are family to each other, so please send our love to all of them. Elder Davis was one of our sons companions. He loved him very much and really enjoyed his time serving with such a wonderful young man. I'm sure Elder Davis and Elder Burrows have touched many lives for good as they have been faithful & dedicated servants of their Heavenly Father. Is there a way we could get the addresses of their familes to send them our love and support? Sister Lundberg, we are so grateful for this blog, thank you so much for it and your the updates. Our hearts go out to you and President Lundberg. If there is anything we could do for you, please let us know. We trust that the Comforter will provide the peace that all of you there in the Romania Bucharest Mission will need at this difficult time.
With our love,
Scott & Princess Frew - parents of Elder Tyler Frew

Lundberg to do it for us and know the Spirit can engulf them as well. Thank you for your service and we will continue praying for all. Tracy and Tammy Larsen, parents of Sora Charisse Larsen

What a great loss for your mission and for their families. My daughter attended the singles ward in Highland Sunday and said so many talked about Elder Burrows. It was a sad day for his friends.
I know you will be a great support to the people who knew both of these Elders.
