A Week of Travel---October 6-11, 2009

The fifth grade at Joshua's school went on a week-long trip to Braşov. They were gone five days and had a great time. Unfortunately, we have no photos of that fun experience. With Joshua away for the week, I decided to accompany President Lundberg and the assistants on an interview tour. We traveled to the cities of Braşov, Sibiu, Deva, Arad, Oradea, and Cluj. It was fun to visit with the missionaries while their companions were having their interviews. I also got some good language study time in as we drove for hours on the windy country roads!
Sora Staley and Sora Karina were glad to get mail from home!

I was able to see friends from Barlad---Radu, Elena, and their baby, Leo!

Elder Johnson enjoys his lunch while he waits for his interview.

The Deva Branch President, President Fotea, and his family, along with a couple other members, help the missionaries streetboard!

Elder Boynton and Elder Toronto share their feelings about the Book of Mormon!

Sora Holden and Sora Howard visit with a man about the gospel.

Sora Howard and Sora Holden received an apple pie for their great contacting efforts!

Who is providing the Streetboards. We tried to do it in Constanta and the government told us we couldn't.

The missionaries that were serving in Deva a few transfers back had them made. They are beautiful!

I was going to say the same thing about that apple pie. Compliments to the chef.
