There was an Easter Bizarre in Bucharest where vendors come and sell their wares. This sweet lady is spinning yarn out of wool. I love seeing people in their traditional costumes!

I was able to meet the girls from BYU who were serving a semester in Iasi working with abandoned children. Kasey, the one on the top left, stayed with us for a few days a month or so later when she couldn't get a plane out of the country due to the volcanic ash from Iceland.

This group of Priesthood leaders come quarterly, I believe, to our home for meetings, coordinating, and training. Seated around the table are Pres. Lundberg, Pres. Bucur (mission presidency), Pres. Doru (Bucharest District President), Pres. Gembasu (translator for meeting, also Branch President in Oradea), Pres. Ursu (Arad District President), Brother Iacimov (CES leader in Romania, Moldova, and other countries now), Pres. Verlan (Chisinau District Leader), Elder Shutze (Europe Area Authority from Germany.)

Elder and Sister Tiexera, (Europe Area Presidency), and Elder and Sister Richards (General Sunday School Presidency) came to Romania and did a fireside for members. They invited us to go to dinner with them afterwards. It was a great evening.
