Thanksgiving Day! November 27, 2008

Thanksgiving Day was very different for us this year. We had Mission Council had our home that day, following transfer day as usual. However, we did have turkey and potatoes and gravy for lunch. It was great to have the missionaries here with us! We truly are grateful for all our many blessings!!!

When we opened the turkey bag, we were very surprised to see our surprise---the turkey claws. We thought this was too unique to not share with all the missionaries, so we made a centerpiece out of them.

Notice the turkey claws centerpiece in the front left corner of the picture. The sign says, "Happy Thanksgiving!" Elder Ward and Elder Roundy help get things ready for breakfast! (Click the picture twice and you can get a better feel for what the centerpiece looks like!)

That is gross mom. I'm suprised Joshua would even hold them. However, it doesn't suprise me that you made a centerpiece with them. You always like a good laugh. Remember the pigs feet at the Hymas Christmas party? Thanks for the pictures!
